Peter Franklin

Peter Franklin worked for Jardine Lloyd Thompson for over 30 years handling the insurance arrangements for several large multi-national companies. In 1989 he set up a specialist unit to handle the insurance for insolvent companies including MG Rover, and Chestertons, as well as a number of well known retailers. He was National Director for technical general insurance issues for the UK company until he chose to take early retirement in 2008 to undertake consultancy work and enjoy his interests in France and Spain.

He is an LLB, MBA, FCII, FIRM and CPCU and as well as lecturing on a variety of insurance subjects has appeared as an expert witness. He is Chairman of the BIBA National Liability Committee.
