Tony Gimple now runs a business specialising in corporate continuity planning. Tony will look at best practice and how businesses can build a meaningful contingency plan.
Mark Lucraft QC was part of the prosecution team in the criminal prosecutions arising out of the Hatfield Rail crash. He is also representing the Crown in the first prosecutions for price-fixing under the Enterprise Act 2002. Mark will be looking at the issue of corporate negligence.
Richard Vardy is a corporate responsibility specialist, having acted as Company Secretary and then Head of Corporate Responsibility of Investec plc. He helped form in 1997 and remains Deputy Chairman of the London Money Market Association. He will case study the response to contingency planning taken at Investec.
Peter Franklin is an Insurance Specialist and Chair of BIBA National Liability Committee. He will review the insurance industry’s response to corporate risks.
Barrister Rufus D’Cruz will deal with being aware of (i) price fixing and bid rigging with contracts (ii) bribery and corruption issues in public contracts and the new Bribery bill, (iii) Health & Safety issues.
Les Moseley MA, FICDDS, GI(Fire)E is the former Director of Coventry University’s Disaster Management Centre and has 35 years in Emergency Management, he is also a consultant to the WHO and UK ’s National Audit Office. Les will present as to how BS25999 the international standard for business continuity management provides robustness in your organisation.
